- Overarm:
Measure your arms at the highest point of the shoulder blades and the fullest part of the arms only for suit jackets and sport jackets. Order the next larger size if the difference between the chest and overarm measurements is greater than 7 inches. - Chest:
Wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it up under your arms and across your shoulder blades. Maintain a relaxed arm position.
Take a measurement around the waist of your pants where you normally wear them (measure over your shirt, but not over slacks or belt).
- Collar (Neck):
Lay the collar flat on a well-fitting dress shirt and measure from the centre of the neck button to the beginning of the buttonhole. - Sleeve:
Measure from the center back of the neck around the elbow to the wrist bone, forearm parallel to the chest. You can also use a well-fitting shirt, fold at the center of the shoulder, and take the same measurements as described above.
